Hello, world!

I've been an avid blog reader for a few years...and after my husband pointed out that it was a bit of a one-sided conversation, I decided there was no time like the present to make the move from blog-stalker to blogger myself! Here's hoping that I'm able to bring at least a little of the sunshine into the lives of my future readers that my favorite bloggers bring into mine!
