Update: I got home from work tonight and was schooled gently reminded by my loving husband that he simply couldn't get the lights up because it rained, and is continuing to rain. He asked me not to call him out on the blog. 'Nuf said. But then I realized that his noticing of the lights post means that Allen now reads this every day. It's his first blog ever!!
